Maine's only AMGA accredited Climbing School!

Thank you for choosing to climb with Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School! Advance reservations are suggested, although we can usually accomodate last minute bookings.

We guide year round, and during the peak season of July and August we are usually booked full at least a week in advance.

To Make a Reservation:
1. Call 1-888-232-9559 or 1-207-288-8186 Monday through Saturday 11-6 EST, or stop by one of our shops in Orono or Bar Harbor (get locations). We can not take reservations via email at this time.

2. Payment: We accept MC/VISA, Discover, checks and money orders. You'll find the reservation policy for your type of program below.

3. Confirmation: Upon reservation, we will send you an informative confirmation packet detailing suggested clothing and equipment, where to meet, etc.

AMG   Registration and Cancellation Terms

Private, Semi-private Guiding and Instruction in Acadia/Clifton/Camden

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for registration. Balance due at the beginning of program. Cancellations made more than two days (48 hours) prior to the start of the course/instruction may put deposit toward another date. No shows will be charged full price. A full refund will be given if Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School must cancel the course.

Courses and Trips; Rock Climbing and Adventure Camp:

A 50% deposit is required for registration. Balance due three weeks (21) before the beginning of program. Fifty percent (50%) of deposit is refundable if cancellation is made more than 21 days in advance. Cancellations made within twenty-one (21) days of program forfeit full tuition rate. A full refund will be given if Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School must cancel the course.

Group Reservations:

Privately arranged groups courses where exact numbers are not known at time of registration require a $300.00 non-refundable deposit to hold date (1/2 day reservations require $200.00 deposit). Remaining balance due three weeks (21) before the beginning of program. Cancellations made more than twenty-one days (21) prior to the start of the course/instruction may put deposit toward another date. Cancellations made within twenty-one (21) days of program forfeit 100% of tuition. A full refund will be given if Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School must cancel the course.

Destination Trips (western U.S., international):  

A 50% deposit is required for registration. Balance due sixty days (60) before the beginning of program. Fifty percent (50%) of deposit is refundable if cancellation is made more than 60 days in advance. No refund of deposit will be given for cancellations made sixty (60) days or less prior to start of program. Cancellations made within thirty days (30) of program forfeit 100% of tuition. A full refund will be given if Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School must cancel the course.
