Rock Climbing And Adventure Summer Camps

Our climbing camps take place outdoors and cover basic technical skills of rock climbing and the fundamentals of climbing movement. Campers in our programs will experience real rock in Acadia National Park and from our surrounding area, learn to climb on it, find out how it got there and learn about the surrounding forests. We visit several different areas, each rich with history and culture of the Maine Woods.

Scouting Merit Badge Program
Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School offers counseling for the Rock Climbing merit badge to scout groups and individuals. The program is administered by authorized climbing merit badge counselor and AMGA certified Rock and Alpine Guide Jon Tierney. An Eagle Scout himself, Jon believes that earning a merit badge should be more than just an exercise in meeting the minimum requirements. Our day-long program is offered on natural rock and is designed to teach scouts how to begin climbing on their own.
Bring yourself for $180.00 private, add a friend for $125.00 ea. or add two friends for $105.00ea.
Bring your troop! Special group rates - $65.00 per scout, minimum of $250.00.
